This name is the accepted name of an infraspecific taxon* of the species Clinopodium chinense (Benth.) Kuntze in the genus Clinopodium (family Lamiaceae).

The record derives from WCSP (data supplied on 2012-03-23 ) which reports it as an accepted name (record 43489) with original publication details: J. Jap. Bot. 12: 41 1936.
